The health of our parents and puppies is our number 1 priority. We want your puppy to be able to grow as your family grows! Our parents are AKC registered pure bred. They have been genetically tested through OFA for hips. All of our puppies are raised in our home and receive love and snuggles from our family from day one. When the puppies reach 4 to 5 weeks of age, they start to spend small amounts of time outside. It is outside they will be introduced to grass and water. We set up a kiddie pool with about 3 inches of water in it so they can be comfortable around water. We of course keep a very close eye on them while they are around water. By the time they are 8 weeks old, they all love water and are confident around it! This makes bath time a lot easier in the future. When the puppies are 4 weeks old, we start weaning them off mama's milk and start introducing them to puppy food. All our puppies are introduced to elements of basic potty training and know that outside is where you go and you do not potty where you sleep! We start introducing the puppies to different sensory things from day one. We touch their feet, ears, etc so they will be used to adults and kids doing that to them. We also put our hands near their mouth while they eat puppy food so they are used to that as well and hopefully will not grow up food aggressive. We get them used to a variety of loud noises. We also use our vacuum around them to get them used to it. Mama is dewormed 2 weeks after giving birth and the puppies are dewormed at ages 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age. When the puppies are 6 weeks old, they get their first round of vaccines. Every puppy is sent home with a health record and a toy that smells like their siblings and mom.
